Marriage License

 

In most cases, there  is a required 3-day waiting period between the time a marriage license is obtained and the ceremony. The marriage ceremony may not take place during the 72-hour period immediately following the issuance of the marriage license.

Some generally important information about your marriage certificate.

​

• The license must be used within sixty days of issuance.

• The license may be used in any county in the State of Florida.

• The executed license must be returned within 10 days to the county in which is was issued.

​

After the ceremony, I can return the marriage certificate to the appropriate county office for you via USPS.
